Many readers have offered up doing articles for Tales of Battle. I think that is fantastic and would love to encourage everyone to find a niche that they are really good at and submit it as an article. If I think it's good enough, I will put it in. There are several questions people might have, let me see if I can answer them: Q: Do I get paid for this? A: No. Right now Tales of Battle is not a profitable venture. So I cannot afford to pay you. But I will send you a free issue, and if you already have a subscription, it will be extended 1 issue, if I actually use your article. Q: Do I get to maintain ownership of what I write? A: Yes. Unlike most publications, where you give up all rights to your material. All I ask, is that you do not publish anything you submit to me (including on the internet), elsewhere, at least until it is printed in ToB for 2 months. If I am holding onto an article for possible future use, and you wish to publish it elsewhere, just write me and let me know, so I can release it. However, having said that, just because you still own the material, that gives you no rights, control or ownership of Tales of Battle. Q: How do I submit an article to Tales of Battle? A: Simple, write up your article and e-mail it to me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it Q: What format should I use? A: You can paste it directly into the e-mail body, or you can attach a MS Word Document. If you are having trouble doing this, just e-mail me and let me know you have an article, are having trouble and we can get it to me another way. Q: How long should my article be? A: Great question, most articles or stories should fit on 1-3 pages of the magazine. So consider that when writing it. For straight text you are probably looking at 800-2000 words. If you have pictures inserted, then you need to take that into consideration. ToB reserves the right to edit any article for grammer, or to reduce the length to fit the magazine's needs. Q: What kind of articles are you looking for? A: I am looking for almost anything that is Warhammer related. Painting tips, Modeling tips, Fiction stories (based in the Warhammer world), Tactics articles, Army building strategies, Army book reviews, or just about anything else you can think of, related to Warhammer and Warhammer tournaments. If you have any other questions feel free to drop me an e-mail and ask. This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
